You should have already received your invitation to the Lake Kiowa Breakfast Mixer, Thursday, October 4th, at 7:30am.We will be sending the RSVP list to the Guard Gate on Tuesday, so that you will be able to get in. If you are not on that list, and do not have regular access to Lake Kiowa, we can't guarantee that you will be able to get in. Once you get to Lake Kiowa...after you go through the gate, stay to your left (Kiowa Dr. W.), your will pass the fire department, Kiowa Dr. curves to the right, turn LEFT on Mohican Trail, go to Navajo Trail, turn RIGHT, that will lead you directly to the lodge. You will see a sign that says Pro Shop & Lodge. If you stay on Kiowa Dr, it will lead you there, but just a little longer route. We will also have maps here at the chamber to show the directions if you want to pick one up. We are going to try to leave maps at the gate house too. PLEASE RSVP NO LATER THAN MONDAY, OCTOBER 1ST.
CHAMBER AMBASSADORS....don't forget..A ribbon cutting has been scheduled for DRY CLEAN SUPER CENTER, 1001 E. California, Thursday, September 27 at 10:00a.m. Dave Hampton will give a tour of the facility and have drawings for free dry cleaning for those who attend.

Leadership Gainesville applications are due by this Friday, September 28th and the tuition is due by Monday, Oct. 1st. If you haven't sent your application in, please get it to us. If you are interested in this class and don't have an application, please contact the Chamber. To date we have 10 applications in and 4 still out. We have room for 6 more participants in this year's class. The tuition is $225.00 and that covers breakfast snacks, full lunch, materials, honorariums, overnight trip to Austin, and other miscellaneous expenses.

REMINDER....PLEASE GET YOUR INFORMATION TO US NO LATER THAN TUESDAY'S FOR THE NEWSLETTER. Once we start sending the newsletter, we can't add anything to it. We really want to get as much information to our members as possible, but because of the time it takes to do a broadcast email, fax and mail out, we are unable to send broadcast emails on a regular basis. Although, at the Chamber's discretion, we do make exceptions.

The Registration form must be returned today, Sept. 26. Space is limited. OCTOBER ZOO EVENTS: Saturday, October 6-FEED A BEAST A FEAST-8:30-10:00 am. The Zoo's Animal Care Staff will demonstrate their culinary skills in exotica animal enrichment. Small groups will follow zookeepers on their morning rounds. Then relax and enjoy a continental human breakfast on the Zoo's dining deck. Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children 8-12 years of age. No children under 8, please. Friday, October 26-COMMUNITY PUMPKIN DECORATING PARTY 6-7:30pm. Jack-O-Lanterns Needed!!!!!!!! Saturday, October 27-ZOO BOO 6-8pm.
