Ghouls, Goblins, and Groceries
The corner of South Denton and East Church Streets of Gainesville will once again
come alive with all kinds of strange things as First Presbyterian Church hosts it’s
annual “Ghouls, Goblins and Groceries” Halloween night! Members and friends of
the congregation will be decked out in their Halloween costumes and will be handing
out treats to all those who venture into the historical district of Gainesville!
But what makes this Halloween night event unique is that the congregation will also
be collecting canned food items and funds for VISTO, the community’s local food
bank. Everyone walking through the area between 6:00 and 8:00 PM is invited to
stop by the church and make a donation to help those who really are having a
“scary” time feeding and supporting their families! For further information, contact
the church at (940)665-5153.
